If I was hired by Baruch College to use new media, I would improve the communication between students and the Baruch offices. For instance, having a Wiki page for each office which including the Financial Aid Office, Bursar Office, Department Offices, and other Offices. The reason for creating Wiki pages is the information and FAQ that provided on the website and email is not enough and complete. Besides this, each Office should have a public blog for the students to ask questions and share their experiences. Although people may have different situations based on their records and financial status, in fact, lots of the problems are very similar. So instead of wait for a long time to receive help, the students actually can help each other through blogs. Also, the schools can figure out what to improve based on the feedback on blogs.

    I really like your idea of implementing new media with Baruch offices. To many new and current students, the information can be hard to get, sometimes the websites are outdated or don't have the information we need. By having blogs and wiki's for different departments, that would really help in sharing information.
