Blog: Next New
When I think of a new type of "new media" that doesn't currently exist, the first thought pop up in my brain was the VR world. As we mention about Virtual Worlds before and I had mentioned about EA company's game, the Sims series. Also other virtual worlds such as sandbox games that more like a second world to the player, the simulated training programs for people, and etc. All of these can be refined in the new media and the VR world. That will be more real and close to reality. Like Sims series and Minecraft, games that can build houses and do interior and outdoor interior in the VR new media. That will be fantastic not just for fun but also can be helpful to students who study architecture, architecture school, interior designers, or architects. They can do simulations of what they designed or do tests on the structure they designed to build which can be build in reality or not. At this point, I really hope there will be some new media that can perform this.
