Blog about Twitter

To me, this was my first time using Twitter to have discussions with my classmates, because I have never experienced this before in any other classes. Especially this is so different compared to Blackboard Discussion and event to in-class discussion. Twitter is opened to millions of users around the world, but Blackboard is only opened to the class you took. Compared to these two discussions which can be posted online and not seeing other classmates' faces, the in-class Discussion is more open because you can see who is giving the thoughts. Compared to Blackboard Discussion and in-class Discussion, Twitter Discussion has word limited. So we have to be more careful about the wording and how to express our thoughts in a simple but also precise way. And this is very difficult compared to the other two discussions. But I do like to the way of having discussions on Twitter because it helped us engage and involved in the discussions more. Especially for people like us, who use social networking sites more than Blackboard. In addition, using Twitter is more convenient to check other classmates' tweets and thoughts. And we all know that the Blackboard site is not that stable.
